I love “toddlerisms”. It seems almost every day my daughter (I guess at 3 ½ she is more a preschooler than a toddler…) has something to say that makes me laugh. One of her latest?
She was asking for a marshmallow and I told her she had a sweet tooth. She looked at me and asked, “Which tooth is it, Mommy?” She went on, pointing to various teeth and trying to figure out which one it could be. I thought she had forgotten about it, until that evening when she was brushing her teeth and she asked, again, which one it was. “I need to brush it good, Mommy, so I don’t get a cavity in my sweet tooth.”
Another favorite moment of hers lately was when her 2 year old brother was angry that whatever he wanted to happen with the toys wasn’t working right. So, he was tossing cars left and right in his anger. She looked at him and said very seriously, “You have an attitude!” (I’m pretty sure she got that one from me; glad to see she’s listening!)

I love toddlerisms! My husband asked my 4 year old what type of boat was in the book they were looking at after pointing out the net (it was a fishing boat). He didn’t know, so hubby asked what the net would be for. 4 yo exclaims, “To Catch Butterflies!” 🙂

Makes total sense to me; that’s what they use nets for at that age! LOL. Cute.

Love the sweet tooth story! When she loses a tooth you’ll have to tell her she lost her sweet tooth. She’ll never want a marshmallow again. LOL
