With less than a week before Easter, the snow on the ground has made it feel more like Christmas…. In fact, the 5 year-old was singing Christmas songs off and on all day today!
So, after our morning romp in the snow, I decided we really needed to do some more crafting to get in the Easter spirit. (And maybe Mother Nature will notice our spring time crafts and take a hint?)
I cut the center out of two paper plates, cut out some colored paper hearts, grabbed some Easter stickers, and let them go at it. A couple paintbrushes helped keep the glue mess to a minimum and as a bonus they got to “paint” — always fun for preschoolers.
Once they had glued on as many colored eggs as they wanted, and applied their chosen stickers, I pulled out the piece de’ resistance: glitter.
