This week I just couldn’t resist Mama Kat’s writing prompt; I mean, writing a limerick just sounded like a fun way to handle Thankful Thursday.
But I needed a topic….
Thankfully, my daughter presented me with one…
Trouble at Grandma’s
There once was a girl with a marker,
Black and permanent, on Grandma’s table.
Soap and scrubbing wouldn’t remove it,
But hand-sanitizer was quite able!
That’s right, hand-sanitizer really does remove permanent marker!
I’d love to hear what you’re thankful for this week! Bonus points for those brave enough to write it in a limerick!
And, if you have a thankful post of your own, be sure to link it up with us this week!

I didn’t know that about hand sanitizer, what a great tip.

It’s one of the best tips I’ve found on Pinterest! 🙂

Great tip about the hand sanitizers. I hadn’t seen that one before.
Today I am thankful for home,
My heart grows even more fonder
whenever I roam.
As I travel and we’re far apart,
I find that she tugs at the heart strings of my heart!
hugs,
Jann

How fun, to write this in limmerick style. Loved it.
Good to know about hand sanitizer too.

Sometimes it is fun to just write something short and silly. 🙂
And the hand sanitizer trick just saved her at the other grandparent’s house the other day…. (I keep the permanent markers well hidden here!)
