This time around I used it in a simple do it yourself seek and find bag for Valentine’s Day.
Creating your own seek and find bag is super easy!
I used a zippered pencil bag I bought at the dollar store. You could also use a plastic zip lock bag and tape it securely onto a piece of cardboard so only one side is showing.
Next I selected several foam heart stickers from our Heart Sensory Bin. I secured the hearts to the side of the pencil case to serve as a guide of what to search for.
I found the matching hearts from the sticker bag and stuck them inside the bag.
Finally, I put several handfuls of artificial snow in the bag. Make sure it is not too full — you want to be able to shake the snow and find the hearts!
Tip: If you are worried that little ones may unzip the bag and make a mess, you can simple run a few stitches through the zipper pull or use some clear packing tape to keep them from opening the pencil case.
Once it’s complete you have a fun Valentine’s themed seek and find to take in the car, to doctor’s visits, or to church!
