We’ve been blessed with several days of beautiful spring weather, but spring wouldn’t be spring without a few showers. The rain today made it perfect for this quick to set up tissue paper craft!
(I have to give credit to the 4 year-old for this one. It seems they did something similar in church preschool, only he ran out of time and didn’t get to start his.)
We started off with a variety of colored tissue paper, cut up in squares. (He informed me that they were cut in circles at school, but squares are much easier to cut!)
I chose to put my colored tissue paper onto the paper first, and then add the black paper cross.
The preschooler started off with his cross on the paper, and then he applied his glue stick very liberally, all over his paper, and sprinkled his tissue paper pieces onto the glue because he doesn’t like to touch the sticky tissue paper pieces.
This simple craft is a wonderful way to start a discussion about the reason behind Easter.
