Every time someone in our family gets a present that is in a gift bag, I keep the tissue paper. The variety of colors is great when it comes to crafting, and tissue paper is essential when it comes to quick and easy sun catchers!
This week the kindergartner got some of the tissue paper out to make these cute Easter sun catchers!
To start the craft I cut out 2 identical eggs from construction paper and then cut out the centers to make an egg-shaped “frame” for the sun catcher.
Then I placed the paper egg onto clear contact paper. (If you don’t have contact paper, clear packing tape will work in a pinch!)
The preschooler cut pieces of colored tissue paper out and stuck them onto the contact paper. Once she finished, we used a glue stick to put the identical paper egg on top.
Then they were ready to hang up!
