When it comes to summer crafts, sea animals are always a hit. One of our favorites sea animal crafts is this cute paper plate pufferfish Craft!
Materials needed to make a paper plate pufferfish:
- Paper plate
- Acrylic paint
- Construction paper
- Wiggly eyes
- Black marker
- Glue stick
Using the fork as a stamp, paint the paper plate with tine marks. We found that going around the outer edge and working our way inward helped create the look we wanted for our blowfish.
Once the paint is dry, use construction paper to create fins.
Add googly eyes and a mouth with black marker.
Try creating a pufferfish with two different colored paints for even more fun! (We used construction paper to cute out a mouth for this one to help it stand out a bit more amid all the colors.)
Whether you make one pufferfish with your little crafter, or you make a school of them, this sea animal craft is sure to bring a smile!
