Kids of all ages love scavenger hunts. That’s probably why there are so many fun hunt ideas when it comes to kids activities.
My kids are no exception. Each year at Christmas they love the daily scavenger hunt of searching for their elf.
With all the Christmas crafts & activities we do in December, I knew they’d love doing their own printable Christmas Scavenger Hunt.
Last year I set up a simple Candy Cane Hunt that had the kids giggling and racing to find those red and white treasures.
This year I created our very own printable scavenger hunt to help get everyone into the Christmas spirit.
Christmas Scavenger Hunt
This scavenger hunt is a fun kids Christmas activity, perfect for one child to do alone, or for several to play together.
The items on the list are simple to read and are things that most families that celebrate Christmas have in their home.
My son loved hunting for just the right train. My daughter looked for the most sparkly ornament she could find.
There is a place to mark on the printable when the object is found. For younger kids you could read each item and have them find it before going on to the next. Older kids will have fun racing to see who can finish first.
Plan to play it with a group and you want them to prove that they found each item? They could bring you the objects, take a picture of them, or just tell you where they found them.
This simple Christmas Scavenger Hunt would be a perfect addition to your Christmas Countdown Ideas this December.
