The seasons.
I love how each season brings its own magical touch to the time we spend outdoors: summertime swimming, jumping in the leaves in the fall, building snowmen in the winter, and those first bright green shoots of spring.
So far this is what our spring has looked like this year: and this…
Now, don’t get me wrong, I love playing in the snow with the kids, but I am ready for daffodils to bloom and weather that allows the kids to expel some of their energy riding bikes and running in the yard.
Which is why I am happy that next week we are supposed to see temperatures going up a little to upper 40’s and low 50’s.
Still chilly, but it’s a start.
The seasons, they are a’ changin’, and for that, I am thankful.
What’s spring been like in your neck of the woods? I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
And, if you have your own thankful post this week, link it up with us! Be sure to link to your actual post, please.

It has been warm and then cold for weeks. I think it is finally going to warm up for good this weekend.

I got tired of trying to find “just the right rocks”, and since we don’t have coal around… Maybe they need some black permanent marker pupils next time! 🙂
