It’s that time of year – time for a fun, easy, kids Halloween craft to get your ghosts and goblins in the mood, like these simple Tissue Paper Ghosts!
All you need is tissue paper (we chose white, but other colors would look pretty neat, too!), marker, and ribbon. For our ghosts we cut out 12″ squares of tissue paper.
Then we crumpled a small ball of extra tissue paper and placed it in the center of our square. This forms the ghost’s head.
Then you wrap your square of tissue paper around the head, twisting at the neck, and use a piece of ribbon to tie it off. We used longer pieces of ribbon so we could hang our ghosts easily. (The preschooler and toddler also liked using the longer ribbon so they had ghost puppets to play with!)
Finally, draw a simple face on the ghost with marker!
Want some other ideas? So far we’ve also had fun with the following Halloween crafts:
- Sandy Spider Webs
- Paper Plate Spider Webs and Pom-Pom Spiders
- Pop-Up Pumpkins
- Purple People Eater Puppets

Oh yeah, can’t leave the big kids out of the fun! I know my 4 year old asks every day lately what craft we’re doing next…

This should jump start some easy craft making fun for my girls. They want to tie ghosts from some of our trees and now that I read this, I just thought of using white trash bags so if it rains they won’t fall apart.
Thanks for the fun ideas!

We just did that very thing today! LOL! They look pretty neat, and a lot cheaper than buying them at the store!

Being able to do a craft with what is already on hand is the BEST kind of craft! 🙂
