Hi! My name’s Christina. (You may see me as OneMommy or TheresJustOneMommy on social media.)
I’m a 40 something, married, former classroom teacher, turned homeschooling mom. My family lives in the farm country of Southwestern Ohio.
Just how did I get here?
I was a classroom teacher for 11 years. After going back to work when our daughter was born, I decided the classroom was no longer where I wanted to be.
I was fortunate enough to be able to become a SAHM, and shortly afterwards discovered we were expecting our second child.
Long story cut short, I’m now homeschooling my 11 year-old daughter and 10 year-old son and loving every minute of it. (Well, almost every minute!)
What will you find at There’s Just One Mommy?
You will find a variety of fun kids activities, including STEM activities and kids crafts that are quick and easy to do at home.
As a former teacher and now homeschool mom, I especially like sharing different learning activities that can be done with materials you probably already have.
You will also find the occasional family-friendly recipe and bits and pieces of what life is like with a child who has so far been diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD).
