Okay, so you may remember that I was trying a spam plugin…
Well, it seems to have messed up everyone’s ability to comment the past 4 days. If you have stopped by my blog this week and tried to comment, I am sorry. I didn’t realize it until today, when I checked Google Analytics to see if anyone had been to my site, since I had no comments… And then I started wondering if something was wrong with the site, b/c I know my wonderful readers usually comment more than this…
Anyway, after an hour of searching, and deleting the plugin, I found the problem. It was under “settings” – a tiny little box that got checked and shouldn’t have (Nope, I never messed with it; I think the plugin did it automatically). But it is fixed now.

Yes, I am soooo not good with tech issues! I always feel so stupid when I know it is something easy to figure out and it takes me hours to do.

I’m so glad you found the problem. That stinks to think your readers all stopped commenting. I’ve been there before. It’s a pain trying to block the spam without blocking what you WANT to come through!

Yes, spam is a pain. I never would have changed the plugin I had been using, but I got almost 100 spam comments in one day, and just didn’t want to waste time going through spam anymore. I will be more careful choosing a plugin next time!
