If you’re staying home, you could also hide the candy around the house and let the kiddos hunt for it ~ like they do at Easter time.

My sister lived in Nebraska for a while (now she is in Iowa, not much better weather there!)…and I remember one of theirs being cancelled. I’m just a wuss when it comes to having to go out in the cold and wet weather.
