Caught Red (Purple) Handed

February 29, 2012 by OneMommy

This is what happened when my toddler found my old ink pads.  The picture is actually after trying to wash his hands – twice!  Poor little guy was freaking out because he thought his hand would always be purple.  Mommy actually resigned to using a little of the Soft Scrub I had to use to clean the bathroom sink where he had purple handprints.  A thorough dose of hand sanitizer after that and MOST (not all) of it was off.

I think that’s one ink pad that’s NOT being used at craft time!

No, he didn’t try to deny it… But he did think he was pretty funny. That is until he realized it wasn’t coming off. Then he freaked out.

Oh my! That would make your toddler totally unique….the one with purple palms! Treasure these moments….they flee all too soon…better ink on the hands than markers on the walls, of you know what I mean!!!! Happy WW!

Yes, thankfully he only got it on the sink counter, which I was able to scrub off – the walls would have been a lot tougher!
