Definitely not as exciting as Christmas…. And I don’t know they really understand the whole idea of a new year — but they do enjoy the “special party” each year.

For this reason we never really put that much effort into celebrating as the clock strikes twelve. However, next year we might try your idea of celebrating it earler in the day.
