Daisies, roses, lilies…. Flowers are some of the most popular spring kid crafts.
While they are always beautiful, the flowers aren’t always geared towards the youngest crafters.
This super simple cupcake liner flower is the perfect toddler and preschool flower craft.
With just a few simple materials, this craft is perfect for little hands. It is one of our favorite flower crafts for preschoolers.

Preschool Flower Craft
Materials Needed:
- Paper Cupcake Liners
- Large Green Craft Stick
- Green Construction Paper
- Glue Stick
- Scissors
- Self-Sticking Magnet
Start with a large, green craft stick. If you can’t find pre-colored craft sticks, you can use permanent marker to color a plain stick.
Have your child choose a cupcake liner to become the flower’s petals. Glue the bottom of the liner to the top of the craft stick.
Have your child cut 1-2 leaves from the green construction paper to glue to the flower’s stem. For the youngest crafters you may want to cut the leaves out for them.
Cut a 1 inch piece of self-sticking magnet and attach it to the back of the flower’s stem. It is the perfect magnet for the refrigerator in the spring.
Or, instead of turning it into a magnet, have your child make 3-4 craft stick flowers and stick them into a piece of Styrofoam wedged into a small flower pot. It makes a cute centerpiece for the table.
This cupcake liner craft is a super easy and fun preschool spring flower craft.
