Dr. Seuss Link Up

February 25, 2013 by OneMommy

Dr. Seuss just never goes out of style.  And it seems almost everyone you ask, from preschooler to adult, has a favorite Dr. Seuss book.

For me, I always liked In a People House when I was younger, and when I found it at the used book store, I had to pick it up to share with my little ones.  We had lots of fun with activities for In a People House.

In a People House

Last year we celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday, and the week leading up to it, reading plenty of Dr. Seuss books and doing tons of fun activities.

It must have left a good impression, because today as I flooded our book shelf with Dr. Seuss books, my daughter asked, “When’s Dr. Seuss’ birthday, Mommy?”  She was excited when I told her it was coming up this week.  (It’s March 2, an easy day for me to remember because it happens to be my sister’s birthday, too!)

Oh, the books you can read!

I have already started to see lots of different Dr. Seuss posts on various blogs and tons of fun pins on PInterest, so I thought it would be fun to host our very own Dr. Seuss link up here on There’s Just One Mommy.

If you have a Dr. Seuss post to share, link it up below!  Whether it’s fun you had with one of his many great books, a Dr. Seuss craft, or a snack (like green eggs and ham), all things Dr. Seuss are welcome!

And, because all good ideas should be shared, if you link up, I will be pinning your post to my all new Dr. Seuss Pinterest board.

So I grew up loving Dr Seuss, but I don’t remember this book! I need to borrow it from my nephew, haha!
