Easter by the Numbers

April 10, 2012 by OneMommy

I hope each of you had a wonderful weekend!

Wonder what OneMommy and family have been up to the past few days?  I can sum it up by the numbers:

  • 12 brightly colored eggs colored by 2 proud little ones
  • 1 really big, solid chocolate bunny in each basket (can you tell Daddy played Easter Bunny this year?)
And the ears are gone in 4 bites!
  • 6 new tools for Monkey’s tool bench
  • 3 presents from Mommy and Daddy (I couldn’t resist this super cute baby and doctor kit from dear Target…)

  • 2 different egg hunts
  • 3 cousins picking up plastic eggs faster than I could take pictures
  • Over 75 plastic eggs hidden
Checking out the goodies...
  • 5 new Hot Wheels to add to Monkey’s collection
  • 4 grandparents and lots of hugs
  • 2 tired kids and way too much sugar!

What numbers did your weekend involve?

We had 14 people over at our house to celebrate. We had 84 eggs to find, divided evenly between 4 kids. We had 8 different appetizers. We had 2 types of dessert. We had more fun than I could possibly count!! Happy to hear you all had such a wonderful Easter!

Glad you had a fun Easter!

Glad that you had a wonderful Easter. We did too! Just wanted to say hi, been so busy with the A-Z challenge I haven’t gotten a chance to comment in a while. When I saw all those eggs i had to laugh, Easter bunny forgot where he put one of the “real eggs” that was hidden in my living room. Oh the horror!! Can you imagine how my house would have smelled like if we didn’t find it??

What a fun weekend! We had a wonderful Easter, too, with way too much candy involved! But there is also a lot of leftovers, which will make dinnertime this week much easier for this mama!

Left overs are always nice! In fact, we’re having some tonight!

With 10 kids out to hunt for eggs, we had to hide 120 eggs around the house.

We did – it’s amazing how fast they grow! Can it be just last year when big sister had to pick up her brother’s eggs for him? 🙂
