Hello November!

November 2, 2012 by OneMommy

October seems to have flown by!

had Peanut’s 5th birthday party, complete with all the tea party necessities and even a teapot cake.  And then, of course, lots of Halloween crafts and trick-or-treating.

We always head down to my parents’ house and trick-or-treat some of the same streets I used to visit.  Then the kids get to visit with their cousin a bit and camp out in the basement.  As a bonus, this year we ran into my best friend’s kids and got to walk with them a bit.  It was cold, and rainy.  I was thankful that Peanut agreed she could wear her cheetah print coat over her cheetah costume!

And since Monkey’s sweats that were the base of his costume were 2 sizes too big, he had plenty of room to wear lots of layers underneath!

Ready to trick-or-treat!

(Notice the plastic on top of the stroller?  I figured if it started to rain really hard we could use it to keep them dry while racing back to Grandma’s.  Thankfully we didn’t need it.)

With Halloween festivities being over, we have started our Tree of Thanks and are looking towards all the delicious dishes that Thanksgiving brings.  (I just pinned a recipe for Olive Garden’s pumpkin cheesecake… yum!)

What are you looking forward to this November?

Oh, so cute! I was hoping to see Halloween pictures today! I love your daughter’s cheetah outfit…her cheetah coat is perfect for the weather we usually get on Halloween! 😉

Can you believe I forgot about her coat until a couple days before when I was trying to figure out what we could stick under her clothes? LOL — It was definitely needed this year!
