“I’m Exotic…”

February 19, 2012 by OneMommy

I overheard the preschooler tell her brother this last week after they raced cars up and down the kitchen floor, “I’m exotic.”

I’m pretty sure she meant exhausted, although the way she dresses sometimes could be described as exotic…

The toddler was crying in his room.  When I asked what was wrong, he said, “I turn the light off…”

Then big sister explained, “Mommy, he was turning the light on and off and I told him he’d break it.”

“Okay,” I said, “but why is he crying now?”

“Well, then I tricked him… Mommy,  you didn’t know I could do magic, did you?”

I don’t know where the “doing magic” came into play, but I did notice that the step stool was flipped over, so I’m thinking she meant she tripped him and took the step stool away…

They are – I love hearing what’s in kid’s heads. Some of my favorite posts I’ve read on other blogs are those funny things they say.
