I’m Thankful Although…

March 31, 2011 by OneMommy

Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday post…

1.  I’m thankful although we had some snow yesterday, there wasn’t any accumulation (go away winter…).

2.  I’m thankful although my kids were both tired, cranky, and didn’t eat terrifically, they didn’t have complete melt downs at Chick-Fil-A last night.

3.  I’m thankful although my husband has to drive 2 hours each way to work this week and we haven’t seen him much that he has been home in time to help get the kids into bed.

4.  I’m thankful although my mother-in-law is back in the hospital she will be getting the surgery she needs this time around.

5.  I’m thankful although it’s been a long week at least it is Thursday and one day closer to the weekend.

What are you thankful for today?  Leave a comment with your own Thankful Thursday thoughts, or if you do your own post, leave a link to your site!

I am thankful my stomach bug is going away! And, maybe the puppy my teen brought home because “someone sold it for free.” And that with Spring Break next week, everyone can sleep in, except for the teen who brought the puppy home, unless we find a home for it:) Want a another puppy? I could be thankful for that!?) LOL

Stomach bugs are the worst; glad yours is going away…. My kids would love another puppy, but Mommy is just not ready to handle another living thing that needs me during the day. LOL. Maybe it will be a blessing in disguise?

It’s great the way you write out these things for which you are grateful, even faced with the less positive aspects of those same situations. Our life experience is really what we focus on, and if we focus on more gratitude it can’t help but make us feel better. It’s my pleasure to meet you. TGIF, and have a great weekend!
