Kid Humor 101

September 19, 2011 by OneMommy

Ahoy, me hardies!  It’s International Talk Like a Pirate Day!  Never ya mind ’tis Monday once again; pour yerself some grog, forget about swabbing the deck, and have some fun!

And if you’re not in to all that pirate humor, or like me, you forgot about it until the end of the day… Here’s something to give you a laugh, because, after all, Mondays tend to be a little crazy, and who couldn’t use a laugh to start the week?

(Yes, these are actual jokes my preschooler shared the past week or two that I’ve written down to share.  And, yes, I hope her joke telling improves over the years!)

Peanut:  “What did the cookie say to the shoe?”

Me:  “What?”

Peanut:  “I don’t know.”  (giggle)

She loves to make faces for the camera now. The fact her eyes are red in it made her laugh all the more.

Peanut:  “Why did the cow cross the road?”

Me:  “Why?”

Peanut:  “To get on the roof.”  (more giggling)

Peanut:  “What did the milk say to the lamp?”

Me:  “What?”

Peanut:  “Mommy, milk doesn’t talk!”  (insane giggling)

Peanut:  “Knock, knock.”

Me:  “Who’s there?”

Peanut:  “Cow.”

Me:  “Cow who?”

Peanut:  “Horse and cow went over the chair.”  (Now her toddler brother is laughing so hard he might puke.)

Have a great week full of laughs!  More glimpses into There’s Just One Mommy’s Comedy Barn to come in the future!
