My Social Butterfly

May 17, 2012 by OneMommy

My daughter is a little social butterfly.

One of my favorite moments having to do with her love of people happened at an indoor play area a couple of months ago.   She came running up to me, all excited and exclaimed, “Mommy!  I found a new meeting!”

Before I could interpret what she was trying to tell me, she continued, “I think we have a playdate this week.  Oh!  I need to ask her mommy for her phone number!”

Then she ran off.

I followed her and discovered that she had met a little girl who was just learning to walk, and according to the little girl’s mom, she had been “quite helpful” with holding the little girl’s hand.

Thankfully the little girl’s mom let my social butterfly down easy when she asked for their phone number, saying that we would probably see them at the play area again one day.

She just looks so adorable and I might say fashionable in that picture. And how she phrased it as a meeting! She’s gonna be killer in the boardroom one day!! lol

LOL – never thought of it, but yes, she does have a way with words and fashion! 🙂
