Yes, I write a long list. I keep adding to it so when I get a chance to pack I can follow my list. I HATE being distracted while I pack; it is driving me crazy! LOL. 2 nights now I’ve waited until they were asleep so I could try to get something done. I just threw a bunch of their clothes on my bed and hoped I had what I needed to pack for them… Now to try to fit it all in the car!

I have to go through in my mind all the things we will be doing and what clothes, shoes, etc. we will need for different things. Distractions would drive me nuts when packing and I would end up forgetting something. Now my kids are older and want to pack themselves!! Unfortunately, I’m a control freak and have to check what they packed b/c I know it won’t be what they need!!LOL 🙂

LOL, there are tons of things I say that I never thought I’d say so matter-of-factly… I did finally get their clothes packed, and a suitcase for the hotel we’re stopping at half way through. (Packing when they were in bed definitely was easier!)

Plus, did you ever think you’d be saying things like “dont bite your brother” in such a matter-of-fact way! I never did! Packing is hard, and is best done when they are alseep, which is why mommies never sleep till they get in the car!!! Hope all gets done and you have a great trip!
