In reply to Shannon. Wow! So it might not just be my kid's age, huh? Well, if they get that old and don't want to de-goop the pumpkins we may just stick to painting them... Then again, the pumpkin seeds I roasted did taste awful good this year, I'd hate to miss out on that!

LOL! I thought my kids were the only ones who steadfastly refuse to remove the goop! They’re 12 and 8 now and they STILL haven’t done it (and, for that matter, neither has their father).
