Loving them, teaching them, watching them grow – I am blessed, truly, I know.

Each day they teach me, too:  love, forgiveness, patience, hope, and to see the world with fresh eyes…

Grant me the patience to be the mother they deserve; guide me in doing what’s right for them.

Lord, it wasn’t until I was a parent that I realized what an awesome gift you gave us with your own son.  As Christmas draws nearer, I am more aware than ever what a gift you gave us all.
