Your child will have fun creating 3-dimensional pictures with toilet paper rolls.   

Cardboard Tube 3 Dimensional Pictures 

Start by cutting a few empty toilet paper rolls (or paper towel rolls) into 1/4 inch thick rings.   

Flatten them a bit into oval shapes.  This is the body of a fish!  

Cut one of your rings in half and sit it next to an oval piece.  Suddenly your fish has a tail.  

You can use crumpled up pieces of tissue paper to give each fish body some color.  

Use a bit of craft glue to glue your fish onto a piece of blue construction paper.

The little toilet paper roll slices also look a little like flower petals when pressed into oval shapes.  

Arrange 6 ovals together to form a flower shape.  

Use a bit of crumpled tissue paper to fill in the cardboard ovals.   

Then add a small circle of construction paper for the flower’s center.  (A button would be super cute, too!)
