Time for my favorite post of the week – Thankful Thursday! It’s always a blessing to take just a moment to think of all there is to be thankful for.
This week I am thankful for:
- The time the kids and I were able to spend with my parents this week before they leave on vacation.
- The beautiful weather we’ve had this week, which has allowed me to take the kids outside, leaving the house quiet so their daddy can sleep. (He’s working night shift this week.)
- The sounds of my kids giggling and getting along while they play.
- Not having a set schedule that I HAVE to follow.
Now for my favorite part – I’m turning it over to you! Take a moment and think of all your blessings. What are you thankful for this week?

Overall I am truly blessed in most areas but today I am especially thankful for:
1.) A husband that I love and who loves me.
2.) Children that I love in my life including my biological children and friends of the same age who are grown now, my grandchildren, children in the family, children in the neighborhood, and the children we skate with regularly and occasionally.
3.) Friends that I love … the ones that I see often and the ones that I haven’t seen in years and only hear from occasionally or haven’t heard from in years.
4.) Strangers that I love … those people who perform random acts of kindness for the friends and family in my life.

I am so thankful that I kicked myself off of the computer for most of the week and got myself outside in the beautiful weather to work on my yard and screened in porch. My husband came home from business travel last night and couldn’t believe all that I had done. I feel more relaxed. I enjoyed the girls more. Sometimes, I let this computer take away from the moments. This summer…I won’t let it happen! This week was proof that life can be very fullfilling if you let it in. 🙂

Yes – I’ve been on the computer a lot less during the day and outside more with the kids this week, too. I need to create a new schedule of what I really want to get done on this laptop and what I don’t need to worry about b/c I think play time outside definitely beats typing on here! 🙂

I’m thankful for the people in my life who’ve inspired me to be strong, kind when I don’t feel like being kind, generous, peaceful, and grateful. I have much to be thankful for and many who’ve shown me grace in the face of adversity.

It’s wonderful to have such supportive people in our lives that can help us to be more than we thought we could be. 🙂

I am loving a pretty open schedule too. Today we just floated from one activity to another. Amen to good weather!

Those are the best days – when the weather is nice and you can just do so many fun things together!

There’s nothing like the sound of my kids giggling to make me feel thankful! Also, I’m thankful that they’re still young enough to cuddle, either sitting on my lap or snuggling next to me while we read or watch a movie.
OneMommy says
Oh, yes, I am thankfully every day my little ones are still small enough to want to cuddle. Especially my little guy – he is quite the snuggler.

We’ve had great weather this week too – and I’m so thankful for that since we had a church festival all weekend. In the past, some nights have been rained out at this time of year!
OneMommy says
Good weather for church events is always a big plus! I don’t know how many times our festival was rained out.

I am eternally thankful for my son, whom I love so much.
