Thankful Thursday – An Interview with the Little Ones

May 3, 2012 by OneMommy

Happy Thursday!  My Thankful Thursday post is getting done a little later in the day today…but for good reason!

We couldn’t resist a trip to the zoo!

It was hard to pull her away from petting the chicken...

Today I’m turning Thankful Thursday over to my kids, interview style while I’m sitting here typing.

OneMommy:  What are you thankful for today, guys?

Peanut:  Candy, God, Candy Cane (that’s our Fluffball), Mom and Dad, my house, a warm home, and Grandma and Grandpa Owl, and Mamaw and Papaw.

Monkey:  Lots and lots of trucks!  (His favorite thing to do while driving is to look for trucks that go by…  Bonus:  They are doing construction at our zoo and we saw a mini backhoe and front loader there.)

There you have it, ladies and gentlemen, what my little ones are thankful for today.

Your turn!  Got a kid handy?  Ask them what they’re thankful for.  You might be surprised!

We have this beautiful hen that lives about 2 mins away from us and we pass it on so many drives to and from. I would love to have her. She is almost black and white striped and she has a big beautiful red head. I adore her. She makes me smile every time I see her. Have a great weekend!

I had to smile at your comment.
I remembered your post about the fox at the side of the road… That love of animals – I can see where your Bean gets it from!

      Have a wonderful weekend!
