Thankful Thursday — April 18

April 17, 2013 by OneMommy

Happy Thursday!

I am tired of all the negative on the news lately; let’s get some positive into the week!  Time for a Thankful Thursday post!

This week I am thankful…

  1. …that both of my kids were excited for swim lessons to start back up.  Having a happy little boy who is smiling ear to ear as we get ready to do “Alligator, alligator, jump off the wall” is a lot better than a grumpy little boy who wants no part in being there.
  2. …that the tummy issues both of my little ones had earlier stopped with the running to the potty route.  This is one mommy who does not deal with the alternative…
  3. …for the librarian who helped us find books about thunderstorms this week.  I’m hoping they help my youngest, as the spring storms as just beginning!
  4. …that my husband filled the tank up on my car when he was out.  That’s one less stop I have to make with the kids the next time we drive somewhere.
  5. …that I was able to fix the stones at the end of the flower bed.  Now to get rid of all the weeds!

Oh man, I want to go swimming so badly too! I love that you thought about getting books on thunderstorms to help your child cope with them. Very smart!

I love the library — and we are blessed with some great children’s librarians!

I’m sure they have a lot of fun with swimming lessons. Sorry about their tummy issues.

This week I’m grateful for my online friends (including you) who have brought me so many smiles.

I am thankful that we had some sunshine this week – so I got a chance to do a little yard work. I am happy that spring is here!

Yes, I am, too! Although it has been quite cold here the past 2 days… I know the end is in sight!

🙂 Kids who aren’t afraid to speak their minds — definitely a good quality, although I have to admit, sometimes I wish my oldest would wait to speak her mind! 🙂

Nope, that’s pretty great, especially when you know you are going out with the kids soon. Kids never want to stop for gas!

Weeks like this one sometimes make it hard to be thankful. Glad you took some time to reflect on the positive. 🙂
