Happy Thankful Thursday!
Ready to improve your mood? Take a moment to think of all you have to be thankful for…
This week I am thankful for…
- …having parents who played along with our Wacky Wednesday fun. It was completely unexpected and made the day that much more fun for the kids.
- …the cooler temperatures that have allowed us to spend a lot more time outside this week. It was perfect weather to take walks, play in the sand, and even go to the zoo yesterday.
- …the motivation to work a little more on organizing all the junk that is under our stairs in the basement, and the chance to do so without little ones poking around in all of it. Who knew giving them a couple old McDonald’s toys that were in the pile to get rid of would entertain them for so long?
- …the fact that my youngest preschooler slept in his bed all night for 4 nights in a row. I’m hoping last night’s inability to fall asleep was due somehow to our trip to the zoo and his nap he had on the way home – but he did fall asleep once he was snuggled on the floor next to my bed…
- …the chance that the husband and I might get to go out for date night today or tomorrow.
Your turn; what are you thankful for this week?

yeah those McDonald’s toys are great, aren’t they? I am thankful for great parents who are always willing to help watch my son and love him to pieces. I am thankful for a great place to live, small but cozy. I am thankful for a great hubby and son, who make life wonderful

Yes, sometimes I have to keep those Happy Meal toys they didn’t seem to care for and I just stash them away… It’s funny how they suddenly can entertain them when we are out or I’m trying to work on something.
Family is the best thing to be thankful for!

{Melinda} I don’t have a Thankful Thursday post, but I love this idea. I’m thankful that my kids had a great transition back to school and that my son made the baseball team this week! 🙂 It just improves your mood to focus on all the good stuff that’s happening in your life instead of all the stressors!

I am thankful for my mom and dad keeping our oldest all day yesterday and until noon today and for doing the same with my youngest one day next week so they can have some special alone time with them and we can have it with each of our daughters as well.

I bet your daughters will both love the one on one time not only with you, but also with their grandparents! What a great way to end the summer before school starts back!
