How awesome that the school has a store and swap for parents!
I always love watching Irish dancing — I hope they have many more years of dancing fun! 🙂

Love that your school band found a way to help lower the cost for incoming freshmen!

My girls Irish dance which can be very expensive. Before we started I asked the teacher for recommendations on where to buy used shoes. Little did I know the school actually has a store/swap for parents! Save me big bucks.

It’s a little known secret about the Salvation Army. 😉

I remember when I was in elementary school taking violin lessons from a high school student. It was much cheaper than lessons from a music teacher and, like you said, it was investing in another student as well.

Great tips here! The Salvation Army? Who knew! I agree, there are many families who would love to swap sports equipment and instruments. I also loved the tip you give about finding student music teachers. This is a great way for students to earn money while investing in another student. Good stuff!

In reply to Mary @ Giving Up on Perfect. It would be great if more schools had a swap at the start of the year. :)
