Washable Crayons = A Mess in the Making

October 9, 2012 by OneMommy

Sunday.

I was thinking, even though my husband was on call and couldn’t head to church with us, and even though we would be pushing for time, I was going to take the kids by myself.

Then they came upstairs…

I really do NOT like washable crayon.  When it gets wet it is a paint consistency that leads to trouble, and to the bathtub.

What have your kids done that made you change your plans to go somewhere?

Oh, no! My kids have not figured out that trick, or my daughter would be drawing on her face every day! I hope it washed off their little faces easily!

Oh, it washed off very easily… but it wasn’t just on their faces, which is why they headed for the tub…

They were just about to step in the water when I grabbed my camera. One day their own kids will do things like that, and I’m going to pull out the pics…

They almost have a look like they are proud of their facial artwork!

Yeah my kids have done many things that made me change my plans. More often now it is the battle over homework that makes us change our plans. But in the past we have had our fair share of messes that prevented us from going somewhere 🙂
