Oh, I love the idea of guessing how many seeds and then counting them!
The little pumpkin we used had so many seeds in it — it was amazing. They would definitely get some counting practice in that way.

Fun! We did this one year and used various vegetables. They had to hypothosize which would float and which wouldn’t, then see if they were right. Then we guessed how many seeds each of their pumpkins had and cut them open to find out how close we were. It was a great activity with friends!
