Yes – I never got to see Ronald McDonald as a kid, so this was a treat for me, too. 🙂

In reply to Kristen. A lot of times the fun stuff isn't at the best time for us, either. Usually it's at quiet time or in this case, Ronald was coming at their bedtime, but we decided it was worth it. I love that your librarian holds books for your girls! Ours know how much Monkey loves truck books; they get a kick out of how excited he gets each week when he gets new ones.

Oh how FUN! I remember getting to see Ronald McDonald when I was a kid, and I remember that as being the best day ever. 🙂 I’ll have to check and see if the local library is having anything cool like that for their reading summer – they didn’t do much last year…price of being in a small town! 🙂

In reply to mom2kmjx2. Ours is easier this year for the little ones. Every 5 books they get a prize. I am making it harder and said they had to be library books we had never read before. They just got their second prize today. :)
